Randy, Roy, or anyone. As you guys know, Jonathan Mover played with Marillion for a while and actually recorded demos for the 'Fugazi' album. Are those the same demos that appear on the remastered 'Fugazi'? I only have the original CD and was wondering if the bonus material was worth it. I thought bonus stuff, especially on 'Misplaced' was really cool. Thoughts on the remasters?

The bonus stuff is nothing Mover is on, mostly like 12" singles. Mover did a few live things with the band and was later fired for Ian. Fugazi and Misplaced are definetly worth having.

I just wen thru the liner notes again for Fugazi, his name is mentioned but he never made it passed the live stuff and I oqute directly from Fish;" on recommendation we audioned jonathon mover prior to relocationg to writing for the 'difficult' second album at rockfield studios in south wales.i did not like or his technical abilities which in my opinion were out of line with our british style. we were under allot of pressure to make a decision and get into the writing sessions so i backed off and hoped it would work out, it didn't.
i became more irritated with him and forced me or him scenario, i knew he was not right and knew who was, Ian Mosley."
There is more but will leave it at that.
I looked at the credits and there is no jonathon listed, my feeling is he pads his resume just a tad kind of like Robbin Dimaggio does.

Don't forget to check out Fish's site which has loads of pics, lyric books etc from back in the Marillion days....very interesting stuff for fans. There are also a bunch of links to other great sites, amongst which I found this one, which has all the lyrics listed and explained....another must for the die-hards (like me)! I recently picked up a video with various footage of Fish from '84-'88...it has a concert from '84 with Mosley which is cool. This was on the Fugazi tour, and was Mosley's first tour with the band. There are also some great live Fish discs available showcasing all the fine players he's used since the split; Dave Stewart, Kevin Wilkinson, Mark Brzezicki (with brother Steve on bass)....good stuff. While a lot of American friends of mine my age had Rush, I had Marillion. I did get into Rush somewhat, but not as much as Marillion....their melodies were better and I thought the music and lyrics were deeper.
Also, this Saturday (14th) Fish is singing "Caledonia" (great song) as part of the pre match entertainment for the NFL World Bowl. It's being aired worldwide, and is on Fox at 12pm ET....
